  • 5% Chlorhexidine acetate BP. BACTIGRAS, an open tulle knit, is a sterile and individually packaged product used in antiseptic applications.
  • It is used as a low adhesive wound contact layer in minor burns and scalds, tears, skin abrasions and other wounds with skin loss with risk of infection.
  • It is also used in donor and recipient graft sites. Thanks to the paraffin and chlorhexidine acetate it contains, it relieves the pain of the burn and protects the wound from infections.
  • It does not stick to the wound. Therefore, it does not cause trauma and pain at the wound site during removal.
  • It acts as a barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing and allows the passage of exudate into the absorbent secondary dressing.
  • Chlorhexidine acetate germicidal slowly passes from the dressing to the wound and has a long-term effect on Gr (+) and Gr (-) bacteria.
