Description

One channel is designed for urinary drainage, while the other is used to inflate a balloon that secures the catheter in place. It features an integrated retention balloon—which can be inflated with sterile water or air—and an inflation valve, both of which prevent the catheter from slipping out of the bladder. It has a rounded tip designed for easy and comfortable insertion. It comes with a connector compatible with standard urinary drainage bags. Typically manufactured in a standard length of approximately 40 cm, it is available in various sizes (e.g., Fr 14, Fr 16, Fr 20, etc.) to accommodate the patient's anatomical structure. It is generally preferred for short- to medium-term urinary drainage or temporary bladder emptying procedures.
